“Temple of Groom is a ridiculous name, yet totally deserved, because Guerrero’s 655-square-foot shop in Mid-Cambridge is a gorgeous Victorian oasis” (Cambridge Day, 2018). The barbershop is a tribute to the history and culture that brought New England to life -- a concept that evokes the Victorian and French romantic era in keeping with the history that surrounds the city. The barbershop combines the traditional with the modern through a mid-19th century French decor. The glamor of its interior converges with the demand of today's customer, offering high-quality service as we deliver skilled classic and contemporary haircuts.

From Humble Beginnings to Master Barber
Julio Guerrero's journey began in the Dominican Re1public, where he started cutting hair in his grandmother's backyard under a tree—with just a piece of broken mirror and an old wooden chair. That humble start quickly gained him a loyal following among friends.
Building a Legacy in Boston
Since 2012, Julio has been an integral part of Boston's grooming industry. Working alongside the area's top barbers, he gained invaluable experience and sharpened his skills to perfection.
The Birth of Temple of Groom
In May 2018, Julio's dream became reality with the opening of Temple of Groom in Cambridge. Together with his talented team, he provides professional, high-quality services within a beautiful and welcoming environment. The success of the Cambridge location led to the opening of a second shop in Kenmore in August 2021.
